Space Dream Cowl - Pattern

The Space Dream Cowl is inspired by the immensity of the Universe, the magic in the stars and planets, constellations and galaxies.

My colourway “Nebulosa” fits perfectly with this theme, and the new “La Oveja Reina” base has a light sparkling shine that pairs really well with the stitches. The result is a soft and cozy cowl, ideal for winter cold days.

This cowl is knitted seamless in the round, with a circular needle or DPNs. It features an easy to follow geometrical stitch pattern, beginner friendly. Perfect for gifts or a treat for yourself!

Needles: 60 cm / 24” 4 mm / US size 6 circular needle or size needed to achieve gauge. Alternatively, you can use a 100 cm / 40” or longer circular needle to work in magic loop or DPNs if preferred. 
Yarn used: Ovejita Be! La Oveja Reina (DK; 75% Extrafine Merino wool, 20% Silk, 5% Silver Stellina; 212 m / 100 g). One skein in ‘Nebulosa’ colourway.
Yardarge: 160-180 metres / 175-197 yards. 
Gauge: 22 sts x 35 rows in 10 cm / 4”, in twisted twill stitch flat after blocking. Number of rows is not important, as length is adjustable.

Final measurements: one size, 50 cm / 20” circumference, 21 cm / 8.25” height.
